BRIDGE OF NO BORDERS –
CYCLING AND HIKING BRIDGE OVER THE RIVER MURA
The new cycling and hiking footbridge over the River Mura in Ceršak, opened in September 2025, connects the municipality of Šentilj with the neighbouring Austrian municipality of Strass-Steiermark. The borderless bridge, 98 metres long (with an 86-metre clear span) and 3.5 metres wide, is a wooden suspension bridge that serves as an important international cycle connection.
