Šentilj Sports Hall

ŠENTILJ SPORTS HALL

The new, modern multipurpose sports hall in Šentilj was officially opened in April 2023.
It is located right next to Rudolf Maister Primary School and serves school physical education as well as recreational athletes and major cultural events.

The building comprises approximately 2,290 m2 of floor space distributed over three floors.
The building is designed as a nearly zero-energy building (nZEB), which means minimal heat losses and a high level of energy independence.

The hall can hold approximately 600 spectators.
When using the standing area (standing places or additional seating on the pitch surface), the capacity increases to up to 1,500 visitors.

A modern ventilation system with heat recovery is built in, ensuring fresh air without major heat loss.

The hall is acoustically treated, enabling the execution of musical events and concerts with high quality Sound. So far, the bands Mi2, Avseniki, Modrijani, Magnifico and others have successfully performed in the hall.

Installed by the building are electric car chargers and electric bicycles, which highlights the municipality's sustainable focus.

There is also in the hall bar in fitness.

Beside the hall there is also a sports park with a football pitch, an athletics running track (tartan), an outdoor gym, a beach volleyball court, basketball and a children's playground.
