  1. Brief description of the operation<\/strong><\/li><\/ol>

    The \u00bbArrangement of the Event Space\u00ab operation is intended to arrange a modern and functional event space in front of the sports hall in \u0160entilj. The implementation of the investment will establish the appropriate infrastructure for organizing concerts, festivals, cultural, sports, tourist, educational and other social events. The new space will be intended for the residents of the \u0160entilj municipality, associations, institutions, and other event organizers, and will contribute to a higher quality of life and social cohesion of the residents in the Ovtar Slovenskih goric LAG area and beyond.<\/p>

    The operation is carried out within the framework of the Local Development Strategy of the Ovtar Slovenian Gorice LAG and is co-financed by the European Agricultural Fund for Rural Development (EAFRD) and the funds of the Republic of Slovenia. The operator of the operation is the Municipality of \u0160entilj, and project partners include the \u0160entilj Sports, Culture and Tourism Institute, the \u0160entilj Tourist Association and Olga Pregl s. p. Development Consulting.<\/p>

    Duration of the project:November 2024 \u2013September 2026.<\/p>

    1. Objectives and results of the operation<\/strong><\/li><\/ol>

      Objectives of the operation:<\/strong><\/p>

      • to arrange a modern, safe and functional event space in the \u0160entilj municipality area,<\/li>
      • improve the conditions for the implementation of cultural, sports, tourism, educational and social events,<\/li>
      • to encourage intergenerational interaction, connect the local population and strengthen social life,<\/li>
      • to increase the attractiveness of the place for visitors and contribute to the development of local tourism, to enable the implementation of quality events throughout the year.<\/li><\/ul>

        Results of the operation:<\/strong><\/p>

        • organized and equipped event space in front of the sports hall in \u0160entilj,<\/li>
        • improved infrastructure for organizing various public events,<\/li>
        • greater opportunities for the functioning of local associations, institutions and other event organizers,<\/li>
        • increased number of cultural, sports, tourist and social activities,<\/li>
        • Strengthened social cohesion among the residents and improved quality of life in the \u0160entilj municipality and the Ovtar Slovenian Hills LAG area.<\/li><\/ul>
